1. Acceptance of terms

By using this service portal, submitting a service request, or making a payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this service.

2. About the merchant

This portal is operated by Secretariat of the South Huvadhu Atoll Hoan'dedhdhoo Council, registered at Vadindhihareymagu, G.Dh.Hoan'dedhdhoo, 17020, Maldives. All transactions are processed from Maldives.

3. Services and pricing

The portal provides access to council services, including issuing of permits, certificates, registrations, and complaint handling. Each chargeable service shows its applicable fee on the request form before submission. The total transaction amount and currency are displayed on the payment confirmation screen prior to payment.

All prices are stated in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) unless otherwise specified.

4. Payment

Payments are processed via the Bank of Maldives Maldives Payment Gateway (BML MPG). We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Maestro cards. Card details are entered directly into the BML payment page and are never collected, stored, or processed by this portal.

You will be redirected to the BML MPG to complete your payment. Following payment, you will be returned to this portal where your transaction status will be confirmed.

5. Refund policy

All payments made through this portal are final and non-refundable.

Service fees are charged for the processing of applications and the provision of council services. Once a payment has been successfully completed, no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be issued, regardless of the outcome of the underlying request. Please review your application and confirm the payment amount carefully before proceeding.

6. Service delivery

Services offered through this portal are digital and procedural in nature. Upon successful payment, your request enters the council's processing workflow. Processing times vary by service type and may depend on supporting documents, on-site inspections, or third-party approvals. You can track the status of your request from your account at any time.

7. Transaction records

We strongly recommend that you retain a copy of your transaction records, including the payment receipt available for download from your account, and a copy of these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy, for your reference.

8. User responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information when submitting requests. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Misuse of the portal, including submission of false information, may result in suspension of access and any applicable legal action.

9. Limitation of liability

The portal is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, the council shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of the portal. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Maldivian law.

10. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Maldives.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the portal after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
